Smaller Chances of Rippling or Folding
Gummy bear implants are made of a special cohesive silicone gel that holds its shape very well. Because of this, the chances of your implants rippling or folding are slim to none.*
When it comes to gummy bear vs silicone traditional implants, the gel is more cohesive and feels more like natural breast tissue. With traditional saline implants, on the other hand, folds or ripples can sometimes be visible through the skin, especially for very petite or slender women with little natural breast tissue for coverage.

No Leaking
It would be very rare for the contents of a gummy bear implant to leak out should a rupture occur. This is due to the fact that the inner gel acts more like a solid than a liquid. The same is not true for traditional saline implants, however, which typically—and visibly—deflate as soon as a rupture happens.
For any type of silicone implant, including gummy bear implants, an MRI is needed to detect what’s known as a silent rupture.

Less Scar Tissue
Although the reasoning behind this benefit is still unknown, there is some evidence that gummy bear implants can leave behind less hardened scar tissue than traditional implants.* One possibility is that the firmness and stability of this type of implant allows for only minimal contraction around the implant, which may reduce the formation of scar tissue.
