What to Expect
During labiaplasty, a local anesthetic is administered and then the surgeon reshapes the labia minora in relation to the labia majora. The procedure also may involve targeted removal of excess pre-pubic fat tissue from the mons pubis using liposuction.
Dissolving sutures are used to repair the incision so no stitches will need to be removed following the procedure.

Is labiaplasty painful?

Prior to surgery, we ask that you avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements, smoking and alcohol for a period of time leading up to your procedure. Your surgeon will provide a complete pre-operative checklist at your consultation so you know exactly how to prepare.
Will labiaplasty leave visible scars?
Incisions are placed discreetly and heal quite well in this area. Recovery and Results
After the procedure, our surgeons advise that patients should expect some pain and swelling. Swelling often dissipates rapidly but may last a few weeks.
Your pubic area will likely remain very sensitive for several weeks, and patients should abstain from sexual activity until cleared by their surgeon. Daily activities are usually resumed within a few days, with more vigorous exercise a few weeks later in the healing process.
