Your mommy makeover is scheduled and you can’t wait. You’re so ready for this…or are you? Before the big day, make sure you’re extra prepared by creating and following a super easy checklist. Here are some of the key tasks to take care of ahead of time.
Clean House
Nobody wants to come home to a dirty, disorganized house, especially the day of your mommy makeover. Do yourself a huge favor and deep clean your house before your procedure. Make sure laundry is done, folded and put away, and dust hard-to-reach spots now so that you won’t drive yourself crazy staring at them while you recover.
Make Childcare Arrangements
You’ll have to temporarily relinquish some of your mom duties for a week or two, so make arrangements in advance for childcare. A key part of mommy makeover prep is lining up support for your childcare. If your kids are involved in activities, plan out their carpooling schedules so that you don’t have to worry about who’s taking them where.
Grocery Shop & Meal Prep
Make sure you get your grocery shopping done ahead of time. Plan healthy meals that you can easily whip up and divide into individual meals for the first week or two of your mommy makeover recovery.
Create a Relaxing Recovery Zone
Finally, designate a calm, quiet room as your recovery zone, and make this space as relaxing and serene as possible. Stock up on some extra pillows and blankets, and make sure you have everything you could possibly need, including lip balm, tissues and the TV remote, within reach.
