Although breast augmentation remains one of the most popular cosmetic procedures at our practice, not all women choose a large breast size as their goal. This patient, age 27, wanted to add enough fullness to her 34A cup breasts to become a smaller C cup. As can be seen in the “before” photo, her natural breasts have an uneven profile, with little fullness overall.

During her consultation at our Tampa office, she expressed her preference for silicone implants, which Dr. Castellano agreed would be most likely to deliver the end result she hoped for. A periareolar incision was used during the cosmetic surgery, and a submuscular placement was used for her 325cc high profile breast implants.

In the “after” photo, this patient shows a fuller, curvier breast profile. Although her appearance is definitely enhanced, her new breasts are still in proportion with the rest of her frame for an attractive total package achieved with a more subtle approach.
