Permanent makeup, also known as micropigmentation, can help you achieve a lasting, updated look without as much hassle applying makeup daily. It involves implanting pigments into the Dermis layers of the skin, and is most often used to enhance the brows, eyes, and lips. Micropigmentation can also be used to replace or fill in areola color, and missing patches of skin color on the body.Even though this treatment is called “permanent,” that just means that it does not wash off – the applied pigmentation won’t last forever. Some people prefer to call this application a “semi-permanent” coloring, considering that it does fade over time, and it isn’t a regular tattoo.
Pricing for permanent makeup applications ranges from $400-$600 for most treatment areas. We’ll provide you with a custom quote after reviewing what you’d like to have done.

WHAT TO EXPECT
We aim to achieve natural looking enhancements that could be passed off as your own facial features. To do that, we utilize two different techniques:
Micropigmentation: that can be combined to achieve many different looks. We implant pigment into a bottom dermis layer of the skin with a hand-held machine, that utilizes micro prongs. This machine pokes micro holes in the skin where the pigment sinks in.
Microblading: Microblading places pigment slightly into the upper dermis layer of the skin. Very fine and shallow scratches are made by hand using a small blade made of micro prongs, and coloring is applied.
Microblading usually lasts approximately 1 year, and micropigmentation (permanent makeup) lasts 1 to 3 years or longer. The longevity of the procedure depends largely by the placement, type of ink used, skin type and texture, as well as types of products and procedures used on or around the area.
Our technicians offer advanced work with high-quality pigments, which are shade-matched to closely resemble your own natural hairs on your eyebrows and lashes, or the pink of your lips. If natural is not your thing, and you prefer more of a makeup look, we have many colors to choose from. We also offer:
- Basic, wedged, winged, smokey, and multiple color designer eyeliners
- Eyelid wash and camouflage
- Multi colored or highlighted hair stroke brows, shadow brows, ombré brows and microbladed brows
- Lip liner, full lip color and full lip enlargement in natural or lipstick look
- Cheek color
- Areola pigmentation
- We use a variety of needles, ranging from a single needle to multi-prong needles, and various microblades to create our custom looks.
RECOVERY AND RESULTS
A permanent makeup treatment creates minor scratches in the skin, which may be sensitive for a day or two while healing. Some patients find that cooling the area for the first day increases comfort, but it is important not to freeze the treated skin, which can cause additional swelling and complications. Many people find they do not need to do anything for the minor discomfort and swelling that follows a micropigmentation treatment, or may briefly take an over-the-counter pain reliever.
You’ll need to keep the treated area moist with healing/antibiotic ointment while outer healing occurs. It’s best to avoid exercise and strenuous activity for a couple days, since increased blood pressure will increase swelling and your sweat can sting the treated area. Keep the area clean but don’t scrub it too hard or apply too much pressure. Do not apply cosmetics over area until it is fully healed.
You should see the final results of your permanent makeup application in 1 to 6 weeks. Touchup applications can be performed if needed. We also perform reapplications for people who previously had micropigmentation applications that have since faded.
