The Matrix Pro system goes well beyond other RF microneedling solutions by providing not one but three different treatment options that can be used for your specific skin concern. The Matrix Pro applicator is equipped with an array of extremely thin microneedles and delivers a short pulse of RF energy to the skin in a fractional manner to minimize damage to the surface layers. During treatment, the applicator can deliver up to three distinct depth and energy settings that your provider controls, allowing us to deliver customized and consistent treatment results. An RF microneedling treatment begins with a consultation to determine your desired goals and the areas of treatment in order to achieve those goals. Before your treatment begins, we can apply a local anesthetic to maximize your comfort. We’ll then perform the RF microneedling using the Matrix Pro’s specialized handpiece. The length of your treatment will depend on the areas being treated, with most sessions taking around an hour to complete.

Most people state that the treatment is not painful, but it can produce some discomfort at times. If you have sensitive skin or are concerned about discomfort during your procedure, a topical anesthetic can be used to keep you as comfortable as possible.

After your treatment, you can expect to return to normal activities within 24 hours. You can expect to experience minor bruising, redness, swelling, and soreness that should resolve within a week. Many work their treatment around 7 days of social downtime in order to let the skin heal and recover.
